Purpose of award: To provide financial assistance to students in high schools serving large low-income populations in Washington state, encouraging these high schools to raise efforts to improve academic achievement.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be a junior or senior in high school at a foundation-designated Achievers high school in Washington state, have a family income that is in the lowest 35 percent of Washington state's family income level, and plan to enroll in a Washington public or independent college for at least two years of their college education.
