Purpose of award: To provide scholarships to physics majors who are participating in a teacher education program and who intend to pursue a career in physics education.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be members of SPS and intend to pursue a career in teaching physics. Students must be undergraduate physics majors, at least in their junior year of study at the time of application.

Minimum GPA: None
Amount: $2,000.
Number of awards: 1.
Deadline: February 15.
