Purpose of award: To provide tuition assistance to students in congressional districts of members of the Congressional Black Caucus.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be high school seniors, college students or graduate students, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, reside or attend school in a congressional district represented by a Congressional Black Caucus Member and submit a financial statement to determine financial need. Applicants for the performing arts scholarship in particular must be 21 years of age. This is an equal opportunity scholarship program, which considers applicants solely on qualifications and ability without regard to race, religion, sex, age, national origin, disability or veteran status.
